THOUSANDS of British men are volunteering for what seems to most a bizarre idea – small penis humiliation – and many are paying for the privilege.
The hashtag #sph can be found on Twitter and Instagram and there is also a special section on Tumblr.
But two of the most popular fetish websites – Collarspace and Fetlife – also cater for people who are into #sph.
Amazingly many of the men are willing to PAY women to be verbally humiliated about the size of their penises.
This practice – known as “tributes” – is often done by way of Amazon wishlists and PayPal accounts.
The woman lists items she wants – clothes, shoes, handbags, cosmetics – and the man pays for them.
In return the woman uses a webcam link to taunt the man – often known as a paypig – about the size of his manhood.
Michelle, who is on Collarspace, said: “I got into it out of curiosity. I was bored. It’s amusing. But I don’t get paid for it.”
She has befriended a British banker, Robert, who works in Frankfurt.
Michelle said: “He enjoys being told how small he is. Ironically he is actually average-sized. But he likes being told that I prefer bigger ones.
“He even asked me to send a photo of my girlfriend and I laughing and to tell him that we were laughing at the size of his penis.”
She said: “There’s another guy on Collarspace who I have spoken to.
“His dick is only three inches long. But for many of them it’s not the fact that they are small. They just want me to tell them they are small and pathetic.”
The average erect penis measures 5.2 inches (13.2cm) in length.
For years men have asked “does size matter” and earlier this year a survey in Switzerland suggested women were more interested in appearance than size.
The men in the #sph world are often referred to as “sissies” and are usually perfectly harmless.
But in a rare case earlier this year one man’s inner torments exploded into violence.
Michael Wenham, 36, stabbed to death Polish prostitute Karolina Nowikiewicz at her flat in Slough, Berks.
During Wenham’s trial it emerged the IT consultant enjoyed being humiliated about the size of his penis.
His wife Dawn told the court he had fantasised about her having sex with better-endowed men and enjoyed being humiliated about his size.
He killed Karolina after botched penis enlargement surgery left him with an even smaller penis.
Wenham is now serving life in prison.
Asked why some men enjoy Small penis Humiliation, sex expert Dr Pam Spurr said: “Sometimes it’s a defence mechanism.
“If they allow others to ridicule them, in a sense they keep control of the situation.
“Or it can be a genuine desire to be made to feel bad, humiliated, and less-than-a-man. Because this reflects the actual truth – they feel less-than-a-man.”
She said boys growing up comparing themselves with their peers and added: “A sense of insecurity can grow quite quickly when a man realises he’s not endowed as other men are.”
Dr Spurr said: “Small Penis Humiliation can be a harmless fetish as long as the man has a basic level of self-confidence. And particularly where they’re doing it because they feel they’re in control of the jibes and humiliation.
“However if a man hinges his entire self-esteem on penis size, this can be a very slippery slope to further feelings of insecurity across other areas of his life.”
She said: “SPH may be linked to the fantasy to be cuckolded in some men.
“That’s because their fantasy revolves around their wife/partner not being satisfied by their penis size. So their wife or partner seeks out an affair with a well-endowed man.”
Dr Spurr said: “Some men who do have power in other areas of their life – financial or career – often enjoy a bit of masochistic release from the pressures associated of being a high-achiever.”
She said: “The internet has allowed every type of fetish to flourish. Unfortunately for some people they seek gratification from increasingly bizarre fetishes. This can lead to feelings of guilt, shame and other negative feelings.”
Asked why some women get involved in SPH without pay she said: “Sometimes she simply enjoys getting off on humiliating a man like through SPH, it suggests some feelings of revenge.
“Perhaps in the past they’ve had unhappy experiences with men and it’s payback time doing things like this.
“They may have an impulsive streak and get involved in such fetish sites without thinking about the consequences.”
