Smaller Than the Joke

An SPH Experience by newpatek09.

I’d been dating Lana for two months. Two months of hand-holding, make-out sessions that left me aching, and a growing dread that coiled tighter in my stomach every time things got even remotely heated. She had no idea what I was packing. Or rather, what I wasn’t packing.

Three inches. Hard. And no girth to speak of. Like a pink highlighter with the cap off.

We were hanging out in her room that evening. Her friends were over—Nina and Brooke—and the four of us were sprawled across her bed and the floor, passing around snacks and scrolling through phones. It was comfortable, easy. Nina was the loudest of the group, the one who always had a story, always had something to say. Brooke was quieter but had this sharp, dry wit that caught you off guard.

At some point, Nina perked up. “Okay, we need to do something. Let’s get on Ometv.”

Lana groaned. “Again? Last time we just got a bunch of old men.”

“That’s the fun part though,” Nina grinned, already pulling up the site on her laptop.

They set it up on Lana’s desk, the webcam pointed at the four of us. I was sitting on the edge of the bed behind Lana, kind of half-watching, half-scrolling on my phone. For about thirty minutes, it was pretty tame. They talked to a few random people—a guy from Brazil who kept trying to practice his English, two girls from somewhere in the Midwest who were visibly drunk, and a kid who looked about fifteen, who was immediately skipped.

Then it happened.

The screen loaded a new face. A guy, maybe mid-twenties, sitting in what looked like a dim bedroom. He was smiling, chatting with the girls, being flirty. Nina was bantering back. Brooke made some sarcastic comment. Lana was laughing. I glanced up occasionally but wasn’t paying much attention.

Then the guy said, “You wanna see something?”

Nina leaned forward. “Oh god, here we go.”

He flipped his phone around. The camera panned down, and there it was. His dick, on full display on the screen. He was holding the phone at an angle that made it pretty clear—five inches maybe, straight, thin, no real girth to it. Just kind of… there. Sticking out from his hand like a pale little flagpole.

The room erupted.

Nina screamed. Not a scared scream—a laugh-scream. The kind where you throw your head back, and your whole body shakes. Brooke slapped the desk. Lana covered her mouth, eyes wide, and then dissolved into giggles so hard she snorted.

“What’s so funny?” I asked, leaning forward. I’d missed the flip.

Nina was wheezing. “His—his dick. Look at his dick.”

I looked at the screen. I saw it. Five inches. Thin. Nothing impressive, sure. But my stomach dropped anyway, because I knew—with a certainty that sat like a stone in my gut—that mine was smaller. Significantly smaller. This guy, who they were howling with laughter over, who they were treating like a punchline, was bigger than me.

“That’s the smallest dick I’ve ever seen,” Nina said, tears streaming down her face. She was pulling out her phone. “I need a picture of this. Hold on.”

Brooke was dying. “Bro, you would never please a woman with that. Like ever. That’s not even a dick. That’s a thumb.”

Lana was still laughing, her face buried in her hands. “Oh, my god. Oh my god. He’s just showing it off like it’s something to be proud of.”

They kept going. For a couple of minutes, they just tore into this random guy on the screen. Taking pictures and making comments. “How does he even jerk off? That’s like two fingers and a thumb situation.” “Do you think he’s hard? That might be hard. Oh god, that might be his hard.” “He literally has nothing. Like, medically, that might be a condition.”

The guy on the screen was still there, still smiling, clearly enjoying the attention even if it was mockery. They eventually skipped him, and the conversation moved on. But the energy in the room had shifted. They were still buzzing, still giggling about it, replaying the moment.

I was sitting very still.

Because here’s the thing—the thing that made it worse, that made it so much more complicated than just embarrassment. I was hard. Painfully, throbbingly hard. Listening to them laugh at that guy’s small dick, hearing them talk about how he could never please a woman, how it wasn’t even a real dick—I was rock hard in my jeans. Because I love SPH. I always have. The humiliation, the comparison, the casual cruelty of it—it does something to me that I can’t fully explain and have never been able to control.

And I was smaller than the guy they’d just spent five minutes destroying.

My heart was hammering. I tried to adjust myself subtly, hoping nobody noticed the way I was sitting, the way I’d shifted to hide the tent that—well, it wasn’t really a tent. Three inches with no girth doesn’t tent. It just kind of made a small bump. But still.

Then Brooke turned around and looked at me. “Okay, question.” She had that glint in her eye. “You should take yours out. Compare.”

The room went quiet for a half-second. Then Nina lit up. “Oh my god, yes. Do it. For science.”

I felt the blood drain from my face. And then rush right back to my cheeks. “No. No, I’m good.”

“Come on,” Nina pushed. “It’s just funny. We just saw a random guy. It’s only fair.”

“No. Absolutely not.”

Lana was watching me, a lazy smile on her face. She reached over and bumped my knee with hers. “I hope yours is a lot bigger than that guy’s,” she said. Casual. Light. Like it was the most obvious assumption in the world.

My mouth was dry. “Yeah. Yeah, of course. Way bigger.”

The words came out before I could even think about them. What else was I going to say? Actually, babe, his was bigger than mine. His was the one you were all laughing at, and mine was smaller. Significantly smaller. You’d probably laugh harder at mine.

I said yes. I lied. And she smiled and turned back to the laptop, satisfied.

I sat there for the rest of the hangout with a pit in my stomach and a hard-on in my pants, simultaneously terrified and aroused in a way that made me feel like I was losing my mind. Every time one of them made a passing reference to the guy on Ometv—every time Nina said “smallest dick I’ve ever seen” with that dismissive laugh—I felt a jolt go through me. Not just arousal. Fear. Because they hadn’t seen mine. They hadn’t seen what actually small looked like.

After Nina and Brooke left, Lana and I were alone. She curled up next to me on the bed, kissed my neck, ran her hand along my thigh. We’d been getting more physical lately. She’d been reaching down during make-out sessions, pressing her palm against me through my jeans. I’d been managing it—keeping things above the waist, redirecting, finding excuses.

But I could feel the clock ticking.

She pulled back from a kiss and looked at me. “You okay? You got quiet.”

“Yeah. Just tired.”

She smiled. “You sure? Because I was thinking…” She let her hand drift down my chest, toward my waistband.

I caught her wrist. Gently. “Not tonight. Your friends were just here.”

She laughed. “They’re gone now.”

“I know. I just—I’m not ready.”

She studied me for a second, then shrugged. “Okay. No rush.”

No rush. She thought it was about timing. About emotional readiness. She had no idea it was about the fact that when she pulled my pants down, she was going to see something smaller than the dick she’d spent five minutes laughing at with her friends. Something she’d called “not even a dick” when it belonged to a stranger—something that would make her rethink every assumption she’d made about me.

I drove home that night with the windows down, trying to cool off, trying to think. The arousal was still there, underneath the fear. The memory of their laughter, the cruelty of their comments, the way they’d dismissed five inches as nothing—I replayed it over and over, and it made me harder every time, even as it made me sicker.

I’m 3 inches. No girth. My girlfriend thinks I’m bigger than the guy she laughed at. She’s going to find out the truth eventually, and I have no idea what happens when she does.

But I know what happens to me when I think about it. And that’s the part I can’t explain to anyone.

The End.
