The Smallest She’s Ever Seen
An SPH Experience by Responsible_Fox_8816.
Jenna got there before I did. She’d grabbed us seats near the back, which I appreciated until I realized why. Fewer people around to hear her run her mouth.
She looked good tonight. Nothing crazy—jeans, a top that showed just enough. Her dark hair was down. She was already halfway through a drink when I sat down.
“Took you long enough,” she said.
“Traffic.”
“Sure.” She eyed me over the rim of her glass. That look. The one that meant she was already thinking about how to mess with me tonight.
Chris’s band started around nine. They were decent. Some alt-rock covers, a couple originals. The crowd was into it. I was into it. For about twenty minutes, things felt normal.
Then Jenna’s phone buzzed.
She glanced at the screen, and I watched her face do that thing—that shift where her lips pressed together, and her eyebrows went up just slightly. She tilted the screen toward me without a word.
Some guy had sent her a dick pic. Unprompted, from the looks of it. Classic. It was a decent shot—guy holding his cock in one hand, and it was… substantial. Not porn-star huge, but clearly, measurably above average. Thick enough to fill his grip with room to spare.
I should’ve kept my mouth shut. I never keep my mouth shut.
“Bigger than me?”
The words came out before I could stop them. That automatic, Pavlovian response I can’t seem to turn off. Every single time she gets one, I ask. Every single time, I need to hear it.
Jenna looked at me. Then back at her phone. Then back at me.
She didn’t even hesitate.
“Oh, yeah.”
The way she said it. Emphatic. Immediate. Like I’d asked if water was wet. Her eyes went wide for emphasis, and she nodded slowly, drawing it out. She held up her phone again, tilting it so I could get another look.
“Like, not even close,” she added. She swiped to another photo the guy had sent—a side angle that made him look even bigger. “This is what a normal one looks like, by the way. In case you forgot.”
I felt the heat crawl up my neck. That familiar mix of embarrassment and something else—something darker and more insistent that I’ve never been able to shake. The thing she knows about. The thing she’s known about for years.
“I didn’t forget,” I muttered.
“Sure about that?” She locked her phone and set it face-down on the table. “Because sometimes I wonder if you’ve blocked it out. The whole… situation down there.” She held her index finger and thumb about an inch apart and looked at me with the most innocent expression she could manage, which wasn’t very innocent at all.
“Jesus, Jenna.”
“What? I’m just checking.” She took a long sip of her drink. “You asked.”
She had me there. I did ask. I always ask.
The band played on. Chris was doing some extended guitar solo that probably would’ve impressed me if I could focus on anything besides the conversation I’d just had. Jenna was swaying to the music, singing along to the chorus, acting as nothing had happened, which was almost worse—the casualness of it. Like confirming I was dramatically smaller than some random stranger’s dick was just… table conversation.
About ten minutes later, a girl next to us started talking about some guy she’d hooked up with. Loud enough that we could hear, she was telling her friend about how big he was, using her hands to demonstrate, and her friend was making appropriately impressed noises.
Jenna caught my eye across the table.
Then she did it.
The pinky.
She held up her right hand, pinky extended, and wiggled it at me. Just slightly. Just enough for me to see. Her expression didn’t change. She was still half-watching the stage, half-listening to this girl’s story. But that pinky was up, pointed right at me.
I stared at her. She stared back.
She mouthed: You.
I looked away. Took a drink. Tried to focus on Chris’s set. He was playing something I recognized—some Strokes song, maybe. The bass was good. I concentrated on the bass.
Jenna leaned over. Her mouth was close to my ear, her breath warm.
“That girl’s talking about a real dick,” she whispered. “Like, an actual one. That a woman would actually feel.” She paused. “Not whatever’s going on in your pants.”
I didn’t respond. I couldn’t. My throat was dry, and my face was burning, and I could feel myself getting hard—which was ironic, in the cruelest way, because getting hard didn’t exactly help my case. It just made me more aware of how little there was to work with.
Jenna knew that too. She knew everything. She knew what that feeling did to me. She knew the shame and the arousal were tangled up so tight I couldn’t separate them anymore. She knew because I’d told her, one drunk night, the whole thing. The SPH thing. How I needed it. How I craved it. How I couldn’t explain it and had stopped trying.
She’d never made me feel weird about it. That was the thing. She’d never flinched or judged. She’d just… filed it away. Added it to the collection of things she knew about me. And now, months later, she used it like a weapon. A precise, surgical, devastating weapon.
The set ended. Chris came over, sweating, grinning. We all told him he did great. Group hugs, high-fives, the usual post-show energy. Jenna was hugging him, laughing, and being totally normal, and then she looked over Chris’s shoulder at me.
Pinky up. Quick. Just a flash.
Chris didn’t see it. Nobody saw it—just me.
Just her.
I smiled. What else was I going to do?
—
Later, at a second bar down the street, the group had thinned out. It was me, Jenna, Chris, and a couple others. We were crammed into a booth, drinks on the table, conversation bouncing around.
Somehow the topic turned to dating apps. Chris was talking about a girl he’d matched with. Someone asked if she’d sent him anything yet. He grinned and shrugged in that way that meant yes.
“Show us,” someone said.
“Nah, come on—”
“Show us, dude.”
Chris pulled out his phone, scrolled, and held it up. The girl had sent him a topless shot. Everyone reacted appropriately. She was attractive. It was a nice photo.
Then someone—I think it was Tyler—said, “Bro, you gotta send something back. She’s waiting.”
“I already did.”
“Let’s see.”
Chris scrolled again. He’d sent back a shirtless pic—normal stuff. But the conversation kept going, and Tyler kept pushing.
“Come on, the real one. You know what I mean.”
Chris laughed, turned red. “No way.”
The group kept at him. I stayed quiet. Jenna was watching me, though. I could feel it. She knew where this was going. She knew before anyone else did.
Finally, under pressure and after several drinks, Chris pulled up the photo he’d sent. He held the phone in the center of the table so everyone could see it, quickly, then pulled it back.
It was a dick pic. A solid one. He was hard, and he was big. Not absurd, but clearly well above average. The kind of dick that made the girl’s topless photo feel like a fair trade.
Everyone reacted. Cheers, comments, the usual guy stuff. “Dude, no wonder she keeps texting you back.” “Chris, what the hell.” “Genetics, man.”
I said nothing.
Jenna said nothing.
But under the table, I felt her hand on my knee. Not sexual—just present. A reminder. She squeezed once, then her pinky traced a small circle on my thigh.
I looked at her. She was smiling at Chris, congratulating him, being part of the group. But her hand was on my leg, and her pinky was drawing that circle, and I knew exactly what she was saying without words.
That’s a real one. That’s what they look like. That’s what you’re not.
I swallowed. Shifted in my seat. Tried to act normal.
Her pinky kept moving.
—
The night wound down. People started leaving. Chris took off with some girl who’d been hanging around. Tyler and the others grabbed an Uber. Eventually it was just me and Jenna outside the bar, waiting for our rides.
The street was quiet. Cold. She zipped up her jacket and leaned against a lamppost.
“Good night,” she said.
“Yeah. Chris killed it.”
“He did.” She looked at me. “You okay?”
“Fine.”
“Mm.” She pulled out her phone. “That girl from earlier—the one talking about her hookup—she added me on Instagram. I looked at her page.” She turned the screen toward me. “She posted a story. About the guy.” It was a screenshot of a text exchange. The guy had sent her a dick pic. It was huge. The girl had captioned it with a series of fire emojis and “when you least expect it 😍.”
Jenna held the phone there so I could get a good look.
“Bigger than me?” I asked. Quiet. Almost a whisper.
Jenna looked at the screen. Looked at me. Her expression was almost gentle, which made it worse.
“Oh, yeah.”
She said it the same way she always did. That emphasis. That certainty. Like she was confirming a fundamental truth of the universe.
Then she held up her pinky. Wiggled it at me one last time.
“Night, small stuff,” she said, and grinned, and walked toward her Uber.
I stood there on the cold street, hard and humiliated and something else I couldn’t name, watching her leave. My ride was still three minutes away.
I pulled out my phone. Opened our text thread. Typed: You’re the worst.
Her reply came before my car even pulled up.
And you’re the smallest I’ve ever seen. We all have our things. 😘
I got in the car. The driver asked how my night was.
“Good,” I said. “Long night.”
I leaned my head against the window and felt the warmth still in my face, the tightness in my chest, and that thing—that dark, hungry, desperate thing—that I’ve never been able to turn off.
She knew. She always knew.
And she was never going to let me forget it.
The End.
