The Backup Plan
An SPH Experience by Clean-Swordfish-485.
That thought has replayed in my head a thousand times since that Saturday. But no—I had to be clever. I had to have a “strategy.”
—
The invitation came from a guy I knew through work. We’d hung out a few times, grabbed drinks after shifts. When he mentioned he was renting out his buddy’s place for a pool party, I figured why not. I didn’t have many friends in the area. A chance to meet new people sounded good.
The house was nice—a suburban place with a fenced backyard and an indoor pool room attached to the main house. Glass walls, heated water, the whole setup. Maybe fifteen people were already there when I arrived, most of them in swimsuits, drinking beer and floating on inflatable rafts.
I knew immediately I’d made a mistake with my plan.
—
See, my idea had been this: show up in just a t-shirt and shorts—no change of clothes, no swimsuit. Get in the pool with everyone else. Eventually, when I needed to get out, I’d strip naked to let my clothes dry—using the excuse that I had nothing else to wear. My theory was that this would break the ice, get everyone comfortable, maybe even start a nude pool party.
I’d fantasized about scenarios like this before. The thrill of public nudity. The rush of being exposed. I’m not an exhibitionist in the traditional sense—I don’t have the body for it. But there was something about the idea of being the first one naked, of breaking that barrier, that excited me in ways I didn’t fully understand.
What I didn’t account for was that everyone else would stay clothed. Swimsuits, trunks, bikinis. The exact opposite of what I’d imagined.
—
I spent the first hour in the pool, chest-deep, nursing beers and making awkward small talk with people whose names I immediately forgot. Everyone seemed to know each other already. They had inside jokes and a shared history. I was the outsider, floating at the edge of conversations, laughing at punchlines I didn’t understand.
And the whole time, I was getting more and more aroused.
It wasn’t anything specific—just the combination of the warm water, the alcohol, the glimpses of skin from the women in bikinis, the general atmosphere of bodies close together. My dick had been half-hard since I’d waded in, and as the afternoon went on, it only got worse.
I needed a way out. And my stupid plan suddenly seemed like my only option.
—
“I’m gonna get out for a bit,” I announced to no one in particular, wading toward the ladder.
My heart was pounding. The beer had made me bold—or stupid. Probably both. I climbed the steps, water streaming off my body, my shorts clinging to my legs. My t-shirt was already soaked through, plastered to my chest.
I could feel their eyes on me as I pulled the shirt over my head.
“Whoa, man, what are you doing?” someone laughed.
“Just need to let these dry,” I said, my voice steadier than I felt. “Didn’t bring a change of clothes.”
And then I dropped my shorts.
—
The room went quiet for a split second. Then came the laughter.
It wasn’t subtle. It wasn’t whispered. It was loud, raucous, the kind of laughter that bounces off walls and glass and water. Someone whistled. Someone else made a comment I couldn’t quite hear over the blood rushing in my ears.
I stood there, completely naked, my clothes in a wet pile in my hands. My dick was hard—not rock hard, but hard enough. Maybe four inches, the head pointed slightly upward, flushed red. I’m not big. I’ve never been big. Four and a half inches on my best day, and that’s being generous. And standing there under the fluorescent lights, surrounded by clothed strangers, I looked even smaller.
“Are you cold, bro?” a guy’s voice called out, and the laughter intensified.
—
I walked toward a small table near the glass wall, where afternoon sunlight was streaming in. My legs felt like jelly. Every step was an effort. I could feel my dick bobbing with each movement, my balls tight against my body from the arousal and the nerves.
I spread my clothes out on the table, pretending this was all completely normal. Just a guy drying his clothes. Nothing weird about it.
“Dude, your dick is tiny,” a woman’s voice said. Not mean, exactly. More amused. Like she was commenting on the weather.
“Shrivel much?” someone else added.
I didn’t turn around. I couldn’t. If I looked at them, I’d lose whatever shred of composure I had left.
—
The worst part was the cameras.
I heard the shutters before I saw them. Phone cameras raised, pointed directly at me. Someone was definitely recording. I could see the red recording light, the way people were angling their screens to get a better shot.
And my dick, the traitor, was already starting to go soft.
See, I’m a grower, not a shower. When I’m hard, I’m small but present. When I’m soft, I’m barely there—maybe two inches, the head almost completely hidden. And as the adrenaline and arousal mixed with the mortification, my erection faded faster than I could process.
The laughter peaked again.
“Okay, now it’s really gone,” someone said.
“Is that an innie?”
“I’ve seen clits bigger than that.”
—
I should have grabbed my clothes and run. That’s what any sane person would do. But something in me—pride, stupidity, some twisted need to prove I wasn’t affected—kept me standing there.
I turned around and walked away from the table.
“Where you going, little guy?” someone called.
“Just getting a drink,” I lied, my voice cracking.
I walked toward the kitchen, acutely aware of my nakedness. I tried to position myself behind furniture, behind doorframes, anything to hide my shriveled dick from view. But I could still feel their eyes on me. Still hear the laughter echoing behind me.
—
I hid in the kitchen for what felt like an hour but was probably ten minutes. My hands were shaking. My face burned so hot I thought I might actually catch fire.
I waited until the laughter died down, until the conversation shifted back to other things. Then I made my move.
I walked back toward the pool room, still naked, still exposed. I planned to grab my clothes—hopefully dry by now—and get the hell out of there.
But when I reached the table, my clothes were gone.
—
“Looking for something?” a woman asked, her voice dripping with amusement.
I spun around. My clothes were nowhere to be seen. The table was empty except for a few empty beer bottles.
“Where are my clothes?” I demanded, trying to sound authoritative and failing miserably.
“What clothes?” a guy replied, grinning. “I don’t see any clothes.”
“You took them.”
“Did we?”
They were all watching me now, smiling and enjoying it. I was the entertainment for the afternoon—a naked guy with a tiny dick, running around looking for his stolen clothes.
—
I couldn’t stay in that room any longer. I turned and walked away, my face burning, my stomach churning. I found a hallway near the entrance where everyone had left their bags and gear.
I didn’t ask permission. I didn’t hesitate.
I found my friend’s backpack—my work friend, the one person I actually knew—and I opened it. Inside was a pair of shorts and a t-shirt. I pulled them on without thinking. They were too big, but at that moment, I didn’t care.
I left through the front door without saying goodbye.
—
The drive home was the longest thirty minutes of my life.
I kept replaying it in my head. The laughter. The jokes. The cameras. The way my dick had shriveled up in front of everyone, making me look even smaller than I actually was.
And underneath the humiliation, something else. Something I didn’t want to acknowledge.
I was hard again before I even made it home.
—
I returned the clothes a week later, washed and folded. My friend answered the door with that same smirk I’d seen at the party.
“Hey, little man,” he greeted me.
“Here,” I said, shoving the clothes at him. “Thanks for… letting me borrow them.”
“Letting you?” He laughed. “You stole them from my bag.”
“I was going to return them.”
“I know, I know.” He leaned against the doorframe, arms crossed. “You know everyone’s still talking about that, right?”
My stomach dropped. “What do you mean?”
“Dude, there are videos. Photos. You’re kind of famous now.”
—
I didn’t ask to see them. I didn’t want to.
But I think about them constantly. Strangers have seen my body and seen my dick and seen me at my most vulnerable and most pathetic. They’ve laughed about it, shared it, probably jerked off to it—or jerked off to my humiliation, at least.
My friend still brings it up every time we talk. “Remember the pool party?” he’ll say, and grin. “Good times, little man.”
I want to sink into the floor every time.
—
But here’s the thing I can’t admit to anyone:
I’ve jerked off to that memory more times than I can count.
The laughter. The exposure. The way they pointed and mocked and recorded. The way my dick betrayed me, first getting hard, then shrinking away to nothing.
I hate that it happened.
And I can’t stop thinking about it.
—
So yeah. Always have a backup plan.
Or better yet—think things through before you act.
Because some mistakes follow you forever.
The End.
